New Thomas Saf-T-Liner C2 Propane-powered school buses for South Carolina Public Schools

SC Department of Education has taken delivery of 50+ Propane-powered Thomas C2 school buses.
The chassis was produced in Gaffney, SC and the body manufactured in High Point, NC by Thomas Built Buses. Featuring the efficient the 8.8L Propane engine, Dual air conditioning, PV360 Exterior Camera System, and seating for 77-children.
These propane-powered C2's will operate in Columbia, Lexington, Beaufort and Myrtle Beach area.

Interstate Transportation Equipment recently completed delivery of 100 new Thomas C2 school buses to the SC Department of Education. These Thomas C2 school buses feature the Freightliner chassis built in Gaffney, SC and the body built in High Point, NC by Thomas Built Buses. Featuring the efficient Detroit Diesel DD5 engine, Dual air conditioning, PV360 Exterior Camera System, and seating for 77-children.

Interstate Transportation Equipment hosted 20+ service technicians from South Carolina at the 2014 Thomas Built Buses Service Institute held in Greensboro, NC. This multi-day training course covered all aspects of body, chassis, and electrical repair.
